“I am sincerely grateful to the NGO Girls for their psychological support, understanding, and belief in me. This help has really improved my mental state and changed my attitude towards life,” Nataliia shares.
When the woman turned to the NGO Girls for psychological support, she was emotionally and morally exhausted. Nataliia felt that everything around her had lost its meaning. She experienced deep fatigue, despair, and helplessness. Tears over loss, fear for the future, and fear of the war became part of her daily life. Even ordinary things, such as getting out of bed or feeding the animals, became a challenge for Nataliia. The situation was further complicated by the woman's severe conflict with her sick father. She felt that she had no strength left.
During consultations with the psychologist, Nataliia immediately felt trust. The meetings were warm, filled with respect and sincerity. With the attentive specialist by her side, the woman felt calm. Practical tasks, advice, and the psychologist's sincere faith helped Nataliia rethink her experience and seemed to give her a new lease on life.
Nataliia feels much better now, both mentally and physically. She has learned to take care of herself, sought medical help and started treatment. She allows herself to rest, and is not afraid to ask for help. Although some problems remain, Nataliia treats them more calmly and restrainedly, trying to find a way out of difficult situations. She has gained confidence in life and hope that all the bad things will pass.
“The main thing is that I know now how to help myself when I feel scared or overwhelmed,” she says.
Nataliia’s story proves once again how important timely psychological support is, as it helps restore strength, self-confidence, and the will to live.
