An information booklet for teenage girls created by the NGO Girls in partnership with Street Child in Ukraine.
Here, you will find useful information about female physiology, contraception, menstruation, personal boundaries, and building healthy relationships.
In addition, you will learn how to notice dangerous situations, how to protect yourself, and how to get help.
All the information contained in the booklet is recommendatory. The authors of the booklet may give you some advice, but you are not obligated to follow it!
We encourage you to do only what is safe and comfortable for you. You may also not use the menstrual hygiene and contraceptive products we mention if you feel they are not suitable for you.
Suppose you want to share the booklet with a friend or relative under 18. In that case, you can do so gradually, introducing her to those parts that will be most interesting for her age (for example, with information about physiology and menstruation).
Remember! Knowing more about ourselves, we can make more informed decisions!
