✨ The third cohort of young leaders from different regions of Ukraine has completed the training. During the month-long online training, the participants learned how to develop and implement effective campaigns to promote gender equality, human rights, and combat stereotypes.

At the end of the training, a 3-day offline event was held, where 7 campaigns on the following topics were developed:
❤️ gender-sensitive aspects of marriage;
🚫 counteracting conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV)
🙌 rehabilitation of women military personnel and veterans;
📚 raising awareness of gender-based violence (GBV);
🤝 overcoming gender stereotypes;
🧩 implementing gender policy at the community level;
📌 popularizing feminism.
The participants mastered tools for advocacy and various types of communication. An important part was an exchange of experience, as the initiative brought together people from different areas of civic activism.

The next stage is to finalize the ideas and turn them into full-fledged communication and advocacy campaigns. The best ones will receive funding for their implementation to contribute to the development of a society without discrimination.

The “Equality. Leadership. Future” initiative is implemented by the NGO Girls within the framework of the UN Women’s project "Women's Increased Leadership for Resilient and Peaceful Societies" funded by the Government of Denmark, as well as the project “Transformational Approaches to Achieving Gender Equality in Ukraine" implemented with financial support from the Government of Sweden and in cooperation with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and in partnerships with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. Financial support for the initiative is also provided by the UN Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF).
