In June 2025, the WIN project held an exchange on “Enhancing protection and response to violence against women and girls in conflict — ensuring long-term support” in Vienna. The event was supported by the OSCE and included an open dialogue with the organization's Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu.
As a result of the meeting, the participants presented an updated document with recommendations aimed at long-term support for women and girls affected by violence. The focus is on creating systemic, sustainable, and inclusive support by implementing a survivor-centered approach, ensuring full compliance with international law (particularly the Istanbul Convention), supporting feminist organizations, and providing sustainable funding for combating violence.
