The NGO Girls and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine have officially launched a new phase of their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership. The document formalizes the parties’ intention to work together to create a safe educational environment, protect children’s rights, foster a culture of equality, and combat violence.
The collaboration will include the implementation of awareness-raising and educational initiatives aimed at developing safe behavior skills, preventing bullying and gender-based violence, raising awareness of children’s rights, and ensuring access to quality psychological support for those who need it.
During the signing ceremony, Yuliya Sporysh, director of the NGO Girls emphasized the importance of systematic collaboration between the civil society sector and government institutions.
One of the key areas of cooperation will be supporting the development of a safe and inclusive educational environment where every child knows their rights, feels protected, and has access to the necessary knowledge and resources.
“The memorandum we have signed marks the official start of our joint systematic work at the national level. And I am convinced that together we will achieve more than we could individually,” emphasized Yuliya Sporysh, director of the NGO Girls.

The NGO Girls expresses its gratitude to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for its openness to partnership, shared vision for the development of the educational environment, and willingness to implement changes that will promote the safety, equality, and well-being of children and youth in Ukraine.
