The NGO Girls, with the support of Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH, announces the launch of phase 2 of the initiative Strengthening Civil Society and Small Communities: Gender-Sensitive Recovery and Reintegration in Ukraine.
The initiative was created with the aim of strengthening recovery and reintegration activities, taking into account gender aspects in Ukraine, by expanding the capabilities of women-led organizations and women's rights organizations, as well as providing targeted support with an emphasis on sustainability.
Geography of the project. All regions of Ukraine.
Project duration. 01.01.2026 - 30.12.2026.
Who is this project for?
Local community organizations led by women or women right organizations;
Activists aged 18-26 working in the field of gender equality;
Local psychologists and social workers who want to gain new knowledge and skills to provide psychological support services in their communities;
Women, girls and boys affected by war in small or remote communities.
Project objectives:
To increase the sustainability of quality mental health and psychosocial support services in communities.
To increase the capacity of women's civil society organizations.
To strengthen the voice of young Ukrainian feminist activists.
The project consists of three components, within which several activities will be implemented.
Improving the sustainability of quality mental health and psychosocial support services in communities:
Training for psychologists and social workers who provide services in communities;
Mentorsheep for training participants;
Individual and group psychosocial support for war suffered people in small and remote communities.
Capacity building for NGOs:
Subgranting for local women's rights organizations or women-led civil society organizations;
Mentorsheep for subgrantees.
Strengthening the voice of young Ukrainian feminist activists:
An online training program aimed at strengthening leadership in gender-sensitive recovery processes and strengthening the sustainability of the feminist movement in Ukraine Feminist Academy;
Mentorsheep for the most active participants;
Travel grants to participate in international feminist events.

Within the framework of the second component of the project, subgrants are provided to selected organizations from among those that participated in the first phase of the project, which was implemented in 2025, as well as other initiatives of the NGO Girls.
