The project "Empowering Women in Ukraine through Employment Reskilling" aims to improve the employability and economic independence of unemployed women and girls through short-term reskilling courses and related support, including online group career counselling and online assistance.
The project also aims to determine the impact of the war on the Ukrainian labour market and the gender imbalance in employment. To do this, it is planned to conduct a gender analysis of the labour market.
Other activities include the distribution of humanitarian kits in Kyiv, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Kherson oblasts.
The project is implemented by the NGO Girls with the support of Solidaritätsdienst International.
